THE WORLD WARRANTY
THE WORLD WARRANTY
THIS IS A WARRANTY OF A BETTER WORLD.
IF REMOVED OR DAMAGED, THIS WARRANTY
AUTOMATICALLY BECOMES VOID.
Choose public transport. Help lower toxic emissions and save the planet.
Issued in the public interest by Plan My Trip
The background
Nepal, especially Kathmandu, is gripped with the problem of pollution. With the numbers of cars increasing each year, the problem of pollution is on the rise.
The problem
Pollution isn’t just a problem restricted to traffic. But it is causing serious health hazards. People are complaining about respiratory problems. Children are most vulnerable. This problem is far more dangerous than it seems.
Cars are the main cause of toxic emissions. Hence avoiding cars and choosing public transport might help lessen the problem, and reduce air pollution.
The solution
Almost every gadget we buy comes with a warranty. This assures they remain the way they were supposed to be. Hence, we thought of using the same logic, and designed ‘The World Warranty’. A car sticker that would be stuck on the driver’s door. The aim was not to let the driver enter the car, instead telling him to choose public transport. The mechanism was such that once he opened the door; the sticker automatically came off or was torn off. Thus, making the ‘warranty’ void.
